VP, Advisory Compliance (6-8 yrs EXP) Beijing

A commercial banking compliance professional is sought for a global powerhouse financial institution to be based in China. Our client, a world-leading investment bank, is seeking a VP-level advisory compliance officer to join their Beijing office and report directly to their China-based Chief Compliance Officer. You will advise business units on internal and external regulatory requirements for their derivative products and maintain healthy relationships with the authorities and regulators. You should have hands-on knowledge of China's regulatory compliance requirements related to commercial banking as well as 6-8 years' relevant compliance experience. A good connection with the industry participants and regulators is highly desirable. You must have attention to detail and fluent written and oral English and Mandarin Chinese for the role.
