China Head of Legal (12+ yrs PQE) Shanghai

Job Description

We are assisting a Fortune 500 company in recruiting a China Head of Legal to join their global legal team in Shanghai. As a key member of the China management team, you will lead the Shanghai legal team and work closely with business leaders across China and APAC, providing legal advice on commercial matters, litigation, and risk management. The ideal candidate will be a qualified lawyer with over 12 years’ PQE, gained through a mix of law firm and in-house experience with multinational corporations. International study or work experience in an English-speaking jurisdiction is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of the PRC regulatory landscape, and a solid understanding of U.S. multinational practices are essential.
