Our client, a global payments company with a proven success track record. has a newly created opportunity for a seasoned legal and regulatory compliance professional to play a key role in a global legal and compliance team. Based in Shanghai, Beijing, or Guangzhou, you will oversee and advise the company’s non-bank payment institution licenses related issues in China. Also, you will develop and implement a comprehensive compliance strategy covering Mainland China. Ideally, you have a law degree with at least 5 years’ experience in regulatory compliance with payment and foreign exchange control laws and regulations. You should also have solid knowledge of the People’s Bank of China and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange’s frameworks and licensing requirements. A good team player with excellent multi-tasking and communication skills is sought. Strong drafting skills plus fluent English and Chinese languages are mandatory.
